Rust Bucket Rules!

Jordan’s Hotel

  • The individual rooms within the hotel are not Switzerland, you are not safe. Use them to gather materials and create your own base
  • Jordan’s RP house is Switzerland also. Accidents can happen so give him back the compound bow and his cloths
  • To the above comment Jordan can’t store items for individuals or all the above is void.

Noobs / Freshies / people with < 100 hours

Everyone had to start rust at some point, we were all there once, I get that but give them a break. or by gosh help them

1. Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC) Bans & Game Bans

  • You are allowed one (1) VAC or game ban across all accounts if it is over 365 days.
  • Groups caught harboring hackers or ban evaders will be banned in whole. Do NOT play with known cheaters.
  • Rust Bucket does not give any exceptions to this rule.

2. Racism, Language

  • Rust Bucket has zero-tolerance for any form of racism on our servers.
  • Do not type it, do not write or draw it on a sign, and do not say in in VoIP chat Or Discord.
  • This is a UK server, if you can speak English Please do. For the Scottish Try your best.

3. Personal Attacks & Personal Information

  • Rust Bucket has zero-tolerance for the doxing or sharing of information of other players. This can include:
    • Sharing pictures of another player or their family without their permission.
    • Referring to another player by their real-life (IRL) name without their permission (assuming it is not publicly displayed on their gaming profiles).
    • Sharing another player’s personal information such as their name, age, location, employment, social media profiles, or these same things about a family member of a player.
  • Rust Bucket has zero-tolerance for personal attacks directed at another player that involve their life outside of the game. We are all here to have fun and at the end of the day it is just a game. Please treat it like such.
  • Rust Bucket has zero-tolerance for any harassment directed at a player outside of the game. We love talking shit. In fact, we encourage it! However, this banter should be left in the game.

4. Hacker Reports & Hackusations

  • Do not cry hacks in any public forum. This greatly reduces our chances of catching the accused.
  • Do not spam any channel with “admin!” in Discord. You will be muted or banned.
  • All reports should be sent through our Discord “Admin-Help-Request. This will alert all of the online admins allowing us to look into it.

5. Disrespecting Admins & Players

  • Just because you are hiding behind your monitor does not mean you get to leave your morals at the login screen. Don’t be a piece of garbage and try to be a decent human being.
  • If your friend broke the rules and was punished for it, don’t try to argue with an admin about our decision.

6. Stream Sniping

This is on a case by case basis and the burden of proof is on the streamer. The streamer must also be using every measure possible to prevent stream sniping (streamermode/map overlay/chat off/etc) in order for us to entertain a report. We will not sit in a stream for hours nor will we spectate the accused. Stream sniping is very hard to prove. However, if you’re found to be blatantly doing so, we do reserve the right to ban because it’s a shitty thing to do, and you’re a piece of shit if you do it.
